FTASA Circular - April 2006

Dear FTASA Member,

By now you will, no doubt, be aware of the passing of your Executive Secretary, Barry Oakley. The Chairman and Executive Committee have appointed me as the new executive secretary in my capacity as PIFSA permanent employee. PIFSA will be handling all the financial and secretarial duties of FTASA. My PA Maria Silveiro will be happy to attend to any queries or requests you may have when I am not available and our assistant commercial & technical director Louise Moralee will also be able to assist.

The FTASA Conference will take place at the Southern Sun Hotel, Johannesburg International Airport on Wednesday 12th July 2006.
Topics and speakers are presently being arranged and the conference promises to be greatly beneficial to all members.
Please notify me urgently, should you wish to have a specific topic addressed.

More information on speakers and topics, as well as registration forms, will be sent out after the Easter Holidays.

Don't forget to put aside good samples of your work. The FTASA Print Excellence Awards will take place later this year and entry forms will be sent out once the dates have been finalised.

I obviously will not be able to match Barry's knowledge and experience of the flexographic industry, but I trust that my appointment will be of benefit to our members and I look forward to working for you and with you.
